The stops
1. Las Vegas· 1 night
Land, gawk at the Strip for one night, and escape north-east into Utah before it takes your money.
2. Springdale· 2 nights
Zion's front porch: the Narrows wading hike and Canyon Overlook at sunset — book Angels Landing's lottery if you dare.
3. Bryce Canyon· 1 night
Sunrise Point at actual sunrise, then drop among the hoodoos on the Queen's Garden loop — other-planet stuff.
4. Page· 1 night
Horseshoe Bend at golden hour and a Navajo-guided slot canyon walk — the two most photographed rocks in America.
5. Grand Canyon Village· 2 nights
First look from Mather Point, then walk the Rim Trail west as the light moves — dawn and dusk are when the canyon performs.
6. Las Vegas· en route
Close the loop via the Hoover Dam bypass bridge walk — then hand back the keys.
Good to know
One America the Beautiful pass ($80) covers all the parks on this loop. Zion's main canyon is shuttle-only most of the year; Angels Landing needs a permit lottery. Antelope Canyon is Navajo-guided tours only — book weeks ahead. Bryce sits at 2,400 m (it snows into May); summer at the South Rim means 1-hour entrance queues by 9 am. Fuel up in Page and Kanab — distances out here are honest.
